Once again it's been too long without posting a lot as happened the shelf with the small shops fell off the wall one night at the end of last year the shops did not get damaged too much but the contents dis. The shelf is back up but I moved the small beach huts on to it as they are lighter. The shops are where the huts used to be in the window but are empty just now I could not face redoing what i add done before so will eventually do something new with them. I also felt the room was feeling over crowded so decided to lose the two large properties one was hair salon general store and the holiday let the other was the B&B. I did get one new small shop and so moved all the small cottage style houses and shops so they are all together there are now 5 houses and 3 shops all shops will have a busyness upstairs and one downstairs so 6 different shops. One house and one shop are still empty. The other houses are all still the same and the general store and hare salon are in the first shop fish and chip shop and cafe in the next. The pub is still at the other side of room and now as an empty space at the side where I would like to do a market or some sort of outside sean. The village hall is at the side of the beach huts.

The sweet shop is a sweet shop downstairs and will be a gift shop upstairs but all the items in the gift shop will be things that if it were a real shop would have been made locally so pottery candles painting hand knied items possibly even preserves and pickles. This is a project i have had in my head for years but did not have the property to do it the sweet shop is already close to being finished. There are jars of sweets and shelves of chocolates and fudge it also as a candy floss machine and will have an ice cream counter. Outside is a special item when Lexie was very small we asked her what she would do for a job when she was big her answer was i will have a bike and ride it on the beach selling ice cream to everyone. I am not sure about riding a bike on the sand but the busyness idea from a 3 year old was a very good one now she's 6 and thinking more an ice cream shop. Last year at a dolls house fare i spotted a pink bike with a box on the front and just thought of lexie with her ice cream so i had to have it. I am going to make some ice cream to go in it and it will sit outside the shop so passing customers can buy an ice cream.
Chalet Vue Mer had one it is the home of Gabrielle who moved to the bay from London after a not too pleasant divorce her parents were both born in England but her grandmother was french and she spent her summers with her in France when she was young. The cottage is a small cottage next to the Police cottage.

Nothing big has happened in the last few weeks but lots of small bits added to different properties. Two new arrivals in Harbour Cottage are Lexi and Logan who are happily playing in the bedroom. A couple of extra bits in the living room as there is a sofa bed in here so it doubles as an extra bedroom i changed the coffee table for a wooden blanket box so the bedding can be stored away in the day and there is a nice large set of drawers so whoever is sleeping in there can put all their things away.
Barnacle cottage as had the bedroom wall paper changed and there is some lovely fresh vex in the kitchen ready for dinner tea and biscuits are on the coffee table ready for a visiter.
